Call for Abstracts
Research papers (abstracts) are invited from faculty members and research scholars funded under the Mukhyamantri Research and Innovation Fellowship Program (MRIP, erstwhile OURIIP) across all branches of study, viz.:
Science
Social Science
Language and Literature
Education
Commerce and Management
Engineering Sciences
Legal Studies
Eligibility & Participation
Mandatory: MRIP seed fund beneficiaries and research scholars of 2023 and 2024.
Optional: Scholars from earlier MRIP batches.
Researchers under Centers of Excellence (CoEs) funded by OHEPEE, and those leading/participating in projects funded by agencies such as DST, ANRF/SERB, DBT, CSIR, ICSSR, ICPR, ICHR, ICMR, BRNS, DRDO, UGC, S&T Dept. (Odisha), etc.
Researchers affiliated with institutions outside Odisha working on Odisha-related research problems/sites are also invited.
Publication
A compiled volume of abstracts will be published as ORC 2025 Proceedings (ISBN).
Selected contributions, after technical evaluation, will be invited for full-length manuscripts, to be published in special volumes of reputed domain-specific journals and/or books.
Abstract & Poster Submission Guidelines
Abstract Length: Maximum 300 words
Keywords: Include 4–5 relevant keywords
Formatting: Times New Roman, Font size 12, Line spacing 1.5
Author Details:
Presenting author → Bold & Underlined
Corresponding author (if different) → marked with asterisk
Originality:
Abstracts must contain original work
Should not have been published, presented, or submitted elsewhere
Work showcased at ORC 2022/2023/2024 will not be accepted
A declaration of non-repetition is required
Plagiarism & AI Writing:
Plagiarism tolerance: ≤ 10%
AI writing tolerance: ≤ 20%
Poster Presentation:
All abstracts must be presented as posters during the Conclave
Poster size: 3 ft (width) × 4 ft (height)
Minimum font size: 24 pt (legible from 6 ft distance)
Strict adherence to poster size is mandatory
