Odisha Research Conclave (ORC-2025) is a flagship academic initiative of the Government of Odisha, strategically designed to foster an advanced research ecosystem across the state’s public universities. The conclave serves as a structured platform for the dissemination and critical appraisal of research outcomes, enabling scholarly dialogue between researchers, domain experts, and policy makers. To strengthen the knowledge base in both natural and social sciences, the Government of Odisha has instituted several targeted programs, notably the Mukhyamantri Research and Innovation Fellowship Program (MRIP, formerly OURIIP) and the Odisha Higher Education Plan for Equity and Excellence (OHEPEE). Through these initiatives, early-career faculty members are provided seed research grants, while NET/GATE qualified scholars receive doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships, thereby creating a robust pipeline for high-quality research and innovation. 

Within the framework of ORC, researchers will present original findings for peer review and expert evaluation. This mechanism is intended to enhance scholarly visibility, promote cross-disciplinary collaboration, and accelerate the development of a sustainable research culture in Odisha. ORC-2025 is scheduled to be hosted by Berhampur University, Berhampur, during 27-29 November 2025, in collaboration with the Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC), Government of Odisha.
